This is a general purpose a solution for archiving emails from Outlook to a Web application database based on a set of application-specific categories.

  • Each email has a form region where the Web application can present its own set of categories depending on the type of application and the vertical market it is targeting. For example, for a legal firm, these categories would typically be: Matter & Matter ID and Client. For an engineering firm, those might be Project, Project ID and Client.
  • Upon receiving or sending emails, users are able to select to archive emails and associate them with appropriate sets of categories.
  • Categories can be selected directly from the Web application or cached in a database on the client to optimize searching and auto-complete functionality.

  • Customizing Outlook contacts to become patients’ records. Beyond contact information , these records are linked to multiple data types such as appointments, tasks and emails inside Outlook.
  • Customizing Outlook calendar to hold patients’ appointments and Outlook tasks to act as patient-centric physician tasks
  • Storing documents (test results, images etc.) and linking them to patients' records
